JEHRO on tour again in 2010!
Following his successful tour in 2007 which had him performing in France and Germany singer/songwriter Jérome Cotta a.k.a. Jehro will be back on numerous European stages in 2009. His current, self-titled album is a unique piece of work: Inspiried by Caribbean and traditional American styles like reggae, folk and latin he gives us snapshots and stories of ordinary people’s life. By using this mix of different music styles, his sonorous voice and ambitious lyrics he manages to completely distinguish himself from other contemporary artists. Incomparable yet familiar – that’s the impression you get while listening to one of his songs.
That album was also the start of his international career. Besides gigs on European Festivals and concerts played in legendary venues, e.g. the Olympia in Paris, he opened up for Seu Jorge during his US Tour. The feedback from audience and press was phenomenal. Consequently, both the album and the single “Everything” reached no. 1 of the iTunes World Music Charts. In France “Jehro” even went Gold!

In 2007 he performed at such renowned venues as Le Bataclan (Paris), La Vapeur (Dijon), Stadtgarten Köln and festivals like “Völkerball” in Berlin, Au Pont Du Rock or Les Oceaniques and opened up for Peter Gabriel in Monaco.
Audiences cannot wait to see him on tour again in summer 2010 where he’s going to prove once more what an exceptional artist he is!
