New album in Spring 2010 (Sony) !!

After RUSCONI released their second album „Stop & Go“ (Unit Records) at the Jazznojazz Festival in Zurich (November 06) they were immediately praised as „the new discovery“ of the renowned festival. Since then there’s no stopping these guys.
In March 2008 they toured through Germany and attracted the attention of the major label Sony Music.
Concerts such as Jazzfest Aalen followed before RUSCONI released their third album „One Up Down Left Right“ (Sony).
Whether in small clubs – e.g. A-Trane Berlin, Altes Pfandhaus Cologne, Unterfahrt Munich, Jazzclub Karlsruhe -; on renowned festivals – e.g. Stanser Musiktage, Offbeat Basel, Aalener Jazzfest – or in concert halls as support of artist such as Joshua Redman (Cully Jazzfestival) or Till Brönner (vs swingt), RUSCONI surprise and enthuse.
Even though the last album release is only a few months back, the three Swiss musicians are already back in the studio to work on their new recordings.
After the upcoming concerts in autumn 2009 – e.g. Aalener Jazzfest, Jazzfest Kassel, Das Bett Frankfurt, A-Trane Berlin, Stage Club Hamburg, RUSCONI will present their new album (Spring 2010 / Sony Music) in April / May 2010. Concerts e.g. at the Concert Hall Vienna, Kito Bremen are already confirmed.
The new album will be inspired by the music of Sonic Youth, one of the most influential indie rock bands. An exceptional project where RUSCONI will be showing a new side without loosing their own, distinctive sound.
