Her unique voice impresses again and again with a theatricality and authority that is unparalleled! Artfully stylized stage productions are the complement to their breathtaking stage presence, with which they literally overwhelmed the audience in their concerts. Over the years, she built a great international career and played on the most prestigious stages, such as: the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonic; Vienna, Concert Hall; Dusseldorf, Tonhalle; Bonn, Opera House; Hamburg, Laeiszhalle; Bremen, Glocke; Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele; Frankfurt, Alte Oper; Paris, La Cigale; Nuremberg, Meistersingerhalle; Bochum, Ruhrtriennale! and in the Town Hall in New York.
  
In the 25 years of her impressive career, Mísia has not only given the Fado genre a new lease of life in Portugal, but also substantially modernized this Portuguese art form by adding new instrumentation - using accordion and violin, as well as the literary content of the great Portuguese poets , Through Mísia's uniqueness, artists like Maria de Medeiros, Fanny Ardant and Ute Lemper and Iggy Pop collaborated with her worldwide.
