Ina Forsman is exactly, how an exceptional band leader needs to be: honest, mysterious, passionate and dangerous. Her phrasing crisscrosses terrain that encompasses the influences of Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone and Aretha Franklin.
The award-winning Finish singer and songwriter, who's living in Berlin, represents contemporanean Soul-, Jazz- and R&B music with texts and melodies, coming from the heart. In 2016 and 2019 the “vocal powerhouse” (Downbeat US) performed with the renowned Blues caravan on two celebrated tours in Europe and the USA and she also enchanted the audience at big festivals like the PORI JAZZ FESTIVAL in Finland or in clubs like MOODS in Zürich.
She’s coming back featuring a strong new album to again impress audiences with her powerful, expressive and honey burnt voice and her self-written songs, which are a refined mix of Soul, Jazz and R&B.
