NITIN SAWHNEY, the world music icon who has received numerous awards (including Mercury and BBC Radio), has already worked with many of the biggest names in the music industry such as Sting, Paul McCartney, Ravi Shankar, Norah Jones, the London Symphony Orchestra and many more. In addition to a number of exclusive performances in recent years, he has produced music for major stages, films and television productions.

Now he announces his sensational return to the European live stages.

NITIN SAWHNEY has been touring the great stages of the world successfully for decades.
Still in autumn 2019 he celebrated a glittering, highly acclaimed 20th anniversary of his world success album & milestone "Beyond Skin" in the ROYAL ALBERT HALL.
Now he is coming on tour with his highly anticipated new album "Immigrants".

For his extraordinary achievements he has received the Ivor Novello Lifetime Award 2017, the Songlines World Pioneer Award 2019 and many other awards, as well as six honorary doctorates.

Born and raised in the National Front stronghold in Rochester, Kent, UK, SAWHNEY has always waged his own war against racism and bigotry by always speaking out loudly about his pride in his South Asian heritage.
After first musical projects like orchestras, punk rock and funk bands and jazz quartets, the multi-talent then belonged to the avant-garde of the then emerging "Asian Underground" in the mid 90s, together with greats like TALVIN SINGH.
SAWHNEY's ability to cross and break through cultural boundaries brought him great recognition in both classical and pop culture circles.
